Step off the rush of 34th Street and into one of the world’s largest Crocs destinations, reimagined by our design studio.

Its façade has undergone a dramatic transformation, trading its all-green face for a sleek black elevation that speaks to the brand’s cultural maturity. Crocs’ signature green still frames the windows and doors, a vibrant accent that hints at the energy inside. Just moments from the Empire State Building, this four-storey unit presents 6,300 sq ft (585 sqm) of retail space stretched across two high-footfall trading floors.

Cross the threshold into a timber slatted atrium lined with immersive digital that wraps overhead. This welcoming sequence immediately sets the tone. The noise of Manhattan fades and your Crocs adventure begins. A launch area sits front and centre, visible from the street, drawing you into campaign stories and new releases before you’ve taken your first full step inside.

The ground floor showcases Crocs’ most iconic silhouettes. Browse Classic Clogs at the perimeter (with the Fuzzy range at the fore), before venturing into the heart of the store, defined by its dual Jibbitz Bars and a world-first personalisation experience that brings the creator-led narrative to life.

The Jibbitz Bars are anchored beneath illuminated, ticker-tape rafts, glowing overhead like beacons. These oval fixtures hold a treasure trove of charms from Crocs’ ever-growing library, with digital screens at their centre offering inspiration, stories and creative cues. Adjacent sits the brand-new personalisation workshop nook – a touchpoint not found anywhere else in the world… yet – where fans can gather side by side to personalise their Crocs.

Here, “Create Your Style” messaging encourages you to explore laces, straps, scrunchies and accessories. Nearby perimeter displays are lined with Crocs bags, charms and more, all within arm’s reach to inspire ideas and provide everything needed to complete your look. A small payment kiosk sits close by for instant checkout (if you choose) as soon as your creation is finished.

The store is purposefully calm, allowing the vibrancy of Crocs to take centre stage. A grey-painted ceiling with uniform spot lighting focuses the eye softly downward. Timber panel cladding and warm wood furniture with black powder-coated metal accents create a refined neutral palette, complemented by Corian tops on the Jibbitz Bars, faux leather seating and fluted panelling at the cash desk – guiding the spatial story with subtle shifts in tone, mood and pace.

Round seating – a first for the Crocs concept – positioned down the centre of the store introduces flow and fluidity. The layout encourages customers to pause, meander, trial, and discover the very best of Crocs. Towards the back sits a Limited-Edition display and a recycling chute that offers the opportunity to give well-worn Crocs a new life.

The cash desk delivers a final moment that feels every bit as expressive as the journey that precedes it. A digital screen showing vibrant Crocs content fills the back wall, framed by an illuminated canopy above. The message here is simple: Check out. Leave happy.

But for many visitors, the adventure doesn’t finish here. Follow the path to the escalator, where lightbox content keeps you firmly anchored in the world of Crocs. At the landing, a Crocs NYC mural unique to this store celebrates place and culture – a special moment for tourists visiting one of the world’s largest Crocs stores and a proud moment for locals.

The first floor reinforces how Crocs has evolved from its early comfort shoe identity into a cultural lifestyle brand. Lifestyle and Crocs @ Work ranges, as well as Kids and Toddlers categories, are showcased across mid-floor and perimeter displays, with shoe styles paired alongside lifestyle graphics in a layout that flexes seamlessly with the seasons. Mirroring the displays downstairs, the modular retail system uses a pegboard configuration engineered for maximum flexibility across silhouettes, accessories, POS and category signage. Thoughtfully placed seating throughout offers pockets of calm, away from the intensity of 34th Street.

With the main cash desk positioned downstairs, further payment kiosks on this level allow quick and easy purchases so customers can take home their newest pair, then and there.

Throughout both floors, the redesign delivers a contemporary aesthetic and elevated experience that reflects Crocs’ growing momentum. Zoning is precise, flow is intentional and every transition encourages interaction, discovery, and self-expression. From your first step through the atrium to your final moment at checkout, the journey has been reimagined, not only for New York but for Crocs destinations across the globe.
