Chicago’s Latest High-End Retailer SVRN opens

A new retail location in Chicago, SVRN has recently opened its doors to the public, showcasing an eclectic mix of brands covering everything from Rick Owens DRKSHDW and Gucci to APC and Dickies.

The store is industrial in style and features exposed ducting and electrical wiring and an interior lined with concrete.

Fusing Japanese minimalism with the local area’s industrial theme, SVRN includes ancient Kintsugi-inspired broken mirrors that replicate the gold lacquered designs of Japanese pottery.

The store’s name is an acronym for “sovereign” and prides itself for being “an acknowledged leader and superlative in quality.”
