RIXO opens a new flagship on London’s King’s Road

The 5,000 sq ft flagship store is fitted out in Rixo’s elegant vintage aesthetic and is located on the ground floor of 114-116 King’s Road. It also has a mezzanine level for wholesale buying appointments.

The flagship includes a 1950’s inspired coffee kiosk and cocktail bar complete with palm trees. A grand, glass domed rotunda positioned over the circular bar area, adds to the heritage look and floods the space with light. Another large sky light sits above the main dressing rooms.

The brand is launching new initiatives Rixo Rental and Rixo Pre-loved to coincide with the store opening, and the new space will also house a vintage edit, a bridal suite and an alterations counter.

Rixo will use the space to pursue its commitment to sustainability, “encouraging customers to buy less and wear more.” Rixo Rental will offer customers the chance to rent their favourite pieces for special occasions, launching with 26 styles, with prices starting from £39 for a four-day rental and sizes ranging from a UK 6 – 20. A selection of Rixo bridal pieces will also be available to rent at the shop.
