PUMA Transforms New York Flagship into a Motorsport Paradise for Art Car Collection Event

PUMA introduced the second instalment of its special Art Car collection series inspired by BMW M Motorsport’s iconic Art Car series. The latest drop saw the brand revisit Alexander Calder’s iconic BMW 3.0 CSL masterpiece by boldly interpreting the artist’s signature style in shirts, shorts, and several accessories.

As with the previous Roy Lichtenstein segment, PUMA celebrated the launch of the new range with an evening of art workshops, fashion styling, and music performances.

On 5th Avenue, its landmark New York flagship played host to the event, seeing motorsport artwork, campaign visuals and rails holding the capsule collection spread over its two floors.

The heart of the venue featured Calder’s BMW Art Car, positioned behind the entrance for attendees to take a closer look on arrival.
Kicking off the event, a group of creatives, sneakerheads, and other motorsport obsessives were driven to the venue in a procession of classic red, yellow, and blue BMW cars.

Each guest chose their favourite pieces from the capsule to wear for the evening, such as the printed T-shirt donned by influencer Nadia Idder and the colour-blocked shorts opted for by Ricardo Rodriguez.
