Briggs Hillier Goes Full Throttle for 25th Birthday Finale

On Friday, we went all out as we rounded off our 25th birthday celebrations, the final celebration in a trio of events marking a quarter of a century of Briggs Hillier!

The team gathered at Bridge House Barn in Kibworth for a day that had it all: creativity, competition, good food, plenty of laughs, and glamping.

BRIGGS HILLIER VS THE F1 CHALLENGE

After a laid-back lunch, it was straight into the F1 Challenge, a team-building showdown with pens, scissors, tape, and a healthy dose of ambition. Split into groups, the brief was to design and build a race-worthy ‘F1 car’, fuelled by imagination and teamwork.

Each creation came complete with a team name, fictional sponsors, and plenty of competitive spirit. The final showdown comprised a live head-to-head race, judged not just on speed, but on concept, sustainability, and style. The results were creative. Not always fast. But every team brought the energy.

A TOAST TO 25 YEARS

Once the chequered flag had dropped and the winners were crowned, we shifted gears. Co-founders Adrian Briggs and Jenny Hillier shared a few words, looking back on the journey so far and recognising the people who’ve helped shape it, from their founding days to present.

FROM SPEECHES TO STAND-UP

Following a lovely three-course meal, another burst of energy came as comedian Ben Norris took the mic. With credits including Mock the Week, The Comedy Store, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and They Think It’s All Over, Ben had the room laughing from the first line with a set full of sharp wit and just the right amount of chaos.

COCKTAILS & CAMPFIRES

As the sun went down, we sparked the firepit up and the playlist turned into a singalong. The tent had everything: cocktails, s’mores, dancing, and for the last ones standing, karaoke.

LOOKING AHEAD

This wasn’t just a birthday party. It was a celebration of everything Briggs Hillier has built over the past 25 years. And now, we’re looking forward to the next 25 with a good sense of what’s to come.
