adidas undergoes a Brazilian makeover courtesy of Farm Rio

In celebration of ten years since the two brands first collaborated, Farm Rio and adidas have reunited to create a “groovy” collection that will launch in multiple drops throughout the year.

Founded by Katia Barros and Marcello Bastos in 1997, Farm Rio has become a household name in Brazil, with over 2,000 employees and more than 100 stores across the country.

In 2014, the brand joined forces with adidas to create a collection that blended Farm Rio’s unique and vibrant prints with the sports giant’s world-famous stripes.

The ten-year anniversary capsule will explore Farm Rio and adidas’ new take on its iconic classics, as done so back in 2014.

The first drop, which is now live, pays homage to the sun’s orbit and its endless source of energy and warmth. The drop will bring 11 styles, including footwear and fashion, online at Farm Rio and adidas, as well as select brick-and-mortar locations.
