With everything you need for an outdoor life under one roof, we were inspired by the experience of ‘being outdoors’ to create this experiential, engaging store concept. A clear shopping journey and strong features encourage customers to explore multiple departments that include apparel, footwear, camping, caravanning, sleeping, picnic, furniture and travel.
A UK menswear fashion brand, OPEN launched with a strong offering of premium quality fashion at an affordable price. Working closely with the team at OPEN to develop and prototype the store design created by another party, we applied the concept to over 10 locations throughout the UK.
Capitalizing on the demand for good value gyms, we have created a bespoke environment for JD Gyms that sets it apart from the existing ‘no frills’ gyms. With a greater reach than the existing JD customer base, the look & feel of JD Gyms is ‘cool urban’ while remaining inclusive to all members.
With strong use of real materials including solid timber, feathered edge board and pebbles, we have developed the store concept to reflect the specialist, outdoor expertise of Blacks. Integrated digital screens that act as a ‘window to the outdoors’ and full height graphics of Britain’s dramatic landscapes complete the experience.
Since winning the Retail Week Interiors Awards ‘Fashion Retail Interior of the Year’ and the grand prix ‘UK Retail Interior of the Year’ in 2010 for our JD store concept, we have applied the design to over 70 locations throughout the UK and Europe.
A vibrant, fun environment that allows a variety of leading fashion brands to sit comfortably alongside each other, while retaining the personality of the Bank brand, we were appointed to bring retail practicality to its brand delivery in-store and to design manage the implementation into both new and existing sites.
