SCHUH LAUNCHES NEW STORE CONCEPT
Schuh, the UK’s leading multi-branded footwear retailer, have launched their new store concept in Meadowhall, Sheffield this week, with a design concept created by Briggs Hillier.
The new store retains the design DNA of the previous concept but with a completely refreshed look that is now more aligned with the ever-changing customer needs and market trends.
All in store furniture and materials have been updated and redesigned, gender segregation has been improved and Schuh TV has been introduced into the window display.
In store you will find a central lighting feature with a varied collection of contemporary light fittings, contrasting leather studded feature display areas for womens footwear, a ‘floating’ reflective plum display area for mens, along with new centre floor ‘oak bookcase’ display areas.
The Meadowhall store can be best described as a ‘contemporary eclectic lounge’ and is a unique and exciting environment that will engage with shoppers and encourage them to become absorbed within the Schuh brand. The concept will form the blueprint for all new Schuh stores going forward.
Briggs Hillier has been working closely with Schuh, the UK’s leading multi-channel footwear retailer for over a decade. During this time, we have continually evolved the store concept in keeping with Schuh’s ethos of leading the way within footwear retail and developing engaging in-store experiences that reflect their brand personality.
